The big annual Movie World White Christmas is back this year with 12 special celebrations to catch in the run-up to Christmas Day! For families, it’s the ultimate Christmas experience packed with live entertainment, carolling, kids activities and simply epic festive displays at Movie World’s new Christmas-themed precincts.
Meet Santa at Santa’s Village, enjoy Looney Tunes Pantomime with Mrs Claus, witness The Polar Express 4D Experience, see the dazzlingly tall Movie World Christmas Tree and don’t miss the new and spectacular White Christmas Parade for 2020… plus more. Book in advance – White Christmas runs from December 4 to December 20.
Santa Photos Pacific Fair
Catch Santa right up until Christmas Eve at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach. Round up your kids and head to Pacific Fair’s ground floor, where Santa’s Pavilion has a stunning new look for kids to meet Santa himself with special photo taking plus a FREE festive children’s book to take home.
Santa Photos is available from 11.30am every day starting November 7. 1.5-metre social distancing measures are in place with bookings required (walk-ins unavailable).
Christmas in the Clouds

Gold Coast Mayor’s Christmas Carols 2020
The annual Mayor’s Christmas Carols is going ahead this year but as a virtual live stream hosted on Facebook. If your Christmas isn’t complete without carolling, rest assured this FREE family-friendly event will deliver the Christmas cheer with carols old and new performed by a line-up of headline acts including Casey Barnes David Campbell, Kate Ceberano and more.
Mayor’s Christmas Carols 2020 will mark the event’s ninth year, presented by Mercedes-Benz Gold Coast, 102.9 Hot Tomato and 9News Gold Coast. Make sure to tune in on December 5!
