Experience a night being serenaded by two of Queensland’s premier tenors at Morning Melodies: The Tenors!
It’s a delightful treat to experience two wonderfully talented performers who have mastered different musical genres. The show is bound to be a recipe for some wonderful musical entertainment!
Andrew Pryor and David Kidd are two former long-standing members of The Ten Tenors. During their show, they will be bringing their mix of humour, fun and wonderful melodies to the stage.
Andrew Pryor is a mainstay performer for Opera Queensland. He has performed in productions such as Lucia di Lammermoor, La Forza Del Destino, Oedipus Rex and Carmen, to name a few. He has also performed with Opera Australia in performances such as Madam Butterfly, The Barber of Seville and Billie Budd.
On the other side of the stage is David Kidd. His acting and singing career began in the early nineties with Brisbane street theatre and cabaret acts like the Clef Hangers and Kundalini Brothers. He is also a prolific writer and composer who has written songs, musicals, children’s theatre and comic opera. He has also toured for the Queensland Arts Council and Opera Queensland.
The show will be on 2 February 2017 at 10:30am at the Currumbin RSL. This is a free event so bring your whole family to enjoy the show!
